Reflective Listening

The Elimination of Prejudice Foundation presents Reflective Listening on Wednesday, November 1 at 5 pm. Hear Heather Steranka and Mauricio Velasquez speak about empowering yourself to be an agent of empowerment and change.

Join us for an interactive workshop about REFLECTIVE LISTENING. This workshop is part of our "Empowering You" series. These sessions are designed to give you skills and to empower you to be a Change Agent – and take action on your campus and in your community.

In this session, participants will learn how to utilize “reflective listening”  to hold conversations that go to a deeper level.   This technique helps both the speaker and the listener(s) gain, clarity, and practice empathy.  A shift in perspective may occur with this technique for the speaker and the listener(s).
